Adding Material to the site on 3/22/1999
If you'd like to add something to the site, you might want to read this first.

By default, the pages on the Bagus.org site are able to take input from you. All input fields are optional except for the title. If you don't add a title, no one will ever see it. However, the more you provide the sources of your information, the more likely it is that we'll publish what you enter.

We'd like it to be a very open system, however, we CAN'T let articles you post appear on the site right away. We have editors that oversee the content on the site as would any peer reviewed journal.

You can either

  1. Add a link to some other site:
    1. Go to the page you'd like to add content to.
    2. Use the form at the bottom of the page to add the following items:
      • Title: The title of the article you are linking to.
      • URL: the URL of the page you are linking to.
      • Description: A short original description of the content on the site being linked to.
      • Your email address.
      • The date. If the date of the article you are linking to is set, you may want to change the date fields to match the actual day that the content was written.
    3. Press "Add". Please press Add only once.
    4. After pressing Add, you should see a version of what you just submitted followed by a even longer form.
    5. Please fill in as much as you can about you and the site you are linking to in the large form. Leave the large text field on the bottom of that form blank. That's used for adding content not linking to it.
    6. If you added or changed anything on the large form, press "Save" way at the bottom (above the large text field).
    7. You will then have to wait for our editors to approve your submission. If more than a week goes by, please feel free to email Bagus and he'll take care of it.
  2. Add a short paragraph to appear on a page.
    1. Go to the page you'd like to add content to.
    2. Use the form at the bottom of the page to add the following items:
      • Title: The title of the article you are linking to.
      • Description: A short original description of the content on the site being linked to.
      • Your email address.
    3. Press "Add". Please press Add only once.
    4. After pressing Add, you should see a version of what you just submitted followed by a even longer form.
    5. Please fill in as much as you can about you and your content. Leave the large text field on the bottom of that form blank. That's used for adding content not linking to it.
    6. If you added or changed anything on the large form, press "Save" way at the bottom (above the large text field).

  3. or finally, you can add a title, description, and a boat load of text (but please be nice):
    1. Go to the page you'd like to add content to.
    2. Follow the instructions for adding only a paragraph.
    3. Leave the url field blank.
    4. Only add a description of your content in the first form.
    5. After pressing Add, enter the bulk of your content in the large text field at the bottom of the form.
    6. Press SAVE!
If you want to add some content, but can't find anywhere appropriate to place it, please don't hesitate to write Bagus and he'll probably start a new topic for you.
