Mom 84886. Ugly start. Had to have lots of car repair. Ten-thirty start-ugh! We are on our way to Denver. We saw Flaming Gorge Canyon and beautiful scenery reflected in a lake. We had a raucous lunch of baloney, cheese, pickles and peanut butter and jelly. We saw a ROAD RUNNER at 85,000 miles.

Barb After we hit the Colorado state line, it was just like coming into Wisconsin. Everything was about the same. Denver is very much like Milwaukee, even though it is a mile high. We played bingo-TDJ’s team won both times. After a little fun around, we found the Motel 6. It’s a nice place as usual. For supper, we went to McDonald’s. The French fries had the potato skins still on them. Most unusual. Went “home� and watched TV.
